The 2024 Bid for Kids Auction is now closed!

Thank you for supporting Discovery Museum in this important fundraiser. 

We'd also like to thank the many individuals and businesses that supported the auction by donating an item, gift card, or service. More than 200 donated items made the auction appealing to a wide range of supporters. 

Items will be mailed out to winning bidders within a few days of the auction close. There are no mailing fees for gift certificates, vouchers, and other envelope-sized items. 

If the item you won is larger than what will fit in an envelope, please contact wschaad [at] discoveryacton.org (Wendy Schaad )to arrange to have the item shipped to you (a shipping fee will be added to your total) or to arrange a pick up at the Discovery Museum administrative offices at 177 Main Street, Acton, MA, Tuesday through Thursday, 9am to 2pm. Advanced notice required for pick-ups. 

All proceeds from the auction will support Discovery Museum’s Open Door Connections program which provides a range of ways for families to visit the Museum at no or low cost. This includes families with children on the autism spectrum, who are deaf/hard of hearing, or are blind/have low vision; $1/person admission for EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare cardholders; free admission for educators and military families; and free admission for all on select Friday evenings.
